Creative & Programming


  1. Consult with clients to determine the scope and project vision.
  2. Provide detailed furniture and elevation sketches and drawings to third parties such as architects, purchasing companies, vendors, etc., in order to convey the design direction, as necessary.
  3. Create drawings for interior architectural details (tile layouts, flooring layouts, finish carpentry details, etc.)
  4. Coordinate presentations of inspirational boards, furniture design styles and selections, layouts and space plans.



​Design Development


  1. Develop and present the approved creative concepts into FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) design schemes within approved budgets.
  2. ​Coordinate materials sourcing with contractors, architects, suppliers, reps another third parties, as appropriate.
  3. Create comprehensive kitchen and bath layouts and finish specification books, pursuant to approved budgets.
  4. Consult on finish carpentry and hardware specification and design.
  5. Consult on landscape design (including hardscape).
  6. Consult on exterior facade design, as it should integrate with the interior design plan.
  7. Specify and sample surface materials, including stone, paint, wall coverings, flooring, etc.
  8. Furniture and lighting packages- Source, sample, specify and purchase all furnishings, fabrics, window coverings, accessories, custom lighting.  Provide estimates for furnishings, lighting, surfaces, window coverings and other appurtenant decorative elements.

Implementation & Installation


  1. Periodic site visits to monitor the proper execution of the prescribed design plan.
  2. Create purchase orders and invoices.
  3. Track status of manufacturing deliveries, etc., in order to adhere to the construction/design schedule.
  4. Process change orders, as necessary.
  5. Coordinate all permanent installations with contractors, project managers, etc. for surfaces, window coverings, wall coverings, lighting fixtures, etc.
  6. Coordinate, receive and install all furnishings and accessories, according to the prescribed design plan.
